The Annecy Dragon Boat Festival is organised by Annecy Canoe Club, Dragon Boat Attitude and Kayak Sans Frontieres,
at the Base Nautique des Marquisats in Annecy.
Clubs, charities, companies, groups of friends, sports enthusiasts and amateurs are all welcome.

Dragon Boating?
The Dragon Boat is an ancestral craft that comes straight from an ancient Chinese legend, with big dragon’s head and tail at each end.
A Dragon Boat is around 12m long, 1m20 wide, and weighs between 250 and 300kgs. Dragon boating is a water-based activity for anyone who enjoys sports, the great outdoors, team spirit and conviviality.

- Saturday
On Saturday, the long races (1500m) will take place, followed by the Australian-style races (75m), the prize-giving ceremony and a festive evening with a meal, refreshment bar and live music!
Pre-sale of meals: don’t forget to book!
- Sunday
All day Sunday, the sprint events (200m) will take place, followed by the finals and the prize-giving ceremony, including a Fair Play award!
Refreshments and snacks will be available all day.

You can register up to 23 crew members. In the boat, 16 paddlers and 1 drummer will be accepted.
